Flash Game
Reflection:
My partner and I first chose a game, which was the snake game. We then found a tutorial for the snake game from our teachers DP. Next we downloaded the tutorial onto Adobe Flash and modified the game to our own. We struggled with changing the snake and the food, but our teacher taught us the right way and we figured it out. We also had a hard time slowing the game down, so we asked one of our peers and they taught us. We then tired different paces and finally found one that worked. We were finally successful and figured out how to change the background on our own. We then modified the code to make it larger. Lastly we got feedback from our classmates on our game to see if we were ready, and we were.

Lastly we got feedback from our classmates on our game to see if we were ready, and we were.
Code Before:
blockSize = 8; // the block width/height in number of pixels
gameHeight = 30 // the game height in number of blocks
gameWidth = 45; // the game width in number of blocks
SNAKE_BLOCK = 2; // holds the number used to mark snake blocks in the map
This was the code before we changed it. The game was smaller because of the block size and the width and height.
Code After:
blockSize = 16; // the block width/height in number of pixels
gameHeight = 33 // the game height in number of blocks
gameWidth = 45; // the game width in number of blocks
SNAKE_BLOCK = 2; // holds the number used to mark snake blocks in the map
This was the code after we modified it. We doubled the block size and changed the width and height to suit our game size. We Made the game larger and more visible.
